At Plains Irrigators we have more than a decade’s experience on the ground throughout Canterbury, Otago and the rest of the South Island. We have the expertise to provide you with the right solution and ongoing service for your agricultural business and property.

At the heart of our business is a focus on delivering service that is second to none. After all, an irrigation system is only going to be as good as the team who installs it.

In today's economic climate, we know you cannot afford to have a machine out of operation. As such, we have an experienced, committed team of engineers and service technicians who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week who will go beyond the call of duty to get the job done.

We have the knowledge and expertise to work with any irrigation system, as well as the Zimmatic brand which we specialise in. It doesn’t matter if we didn’t install the system – if it's not working, we can fix it. Our priority is the same as the farmer – to get the system operating again as quickly as possible.

OUR CREDENTIALS

We are agents for Zimmatic irrigation systems and remain the only specialist centre pivot and lateral installation company in the South Island. Our core business focuses on the design, installation and after sales servicing of centre pivot and lateral irrigators.

We have been working with Zimmatic, custom-building packages for clients since 1995. We are proud to have installed over 500 Zimmatic machines with many of our clients boasting 3 to 4 installations.

We are a locally owned Ashburton company. Graeme Cooper and Liz Stephens are joint shareholders / Directors and are actively involved in specialist areas within the business.

WHAT WE OFFER

We are a "one stop" solution for all your irrigation needs. An 'irrigation system' is not complete without pumps, mainline, stock water and electrical services. Using the latest technologies available, our design team will provide the most cost effective and practical solution to meet your management, pumping and stock watering needs.

Our specialist team of experienced engineers will ensure the system is installed and operating as specified. During final commissioning we provide you with comprehensive training and support, and we are only ever a phone call away should you require assistance or advice.
